2.1 Rig Manager / Drilling Superintendent (Resident)

2.2 Rig Manager or Offshore Installation Manager (Offshore Rigs)
Rig Manager or O.I.M is the overall in charge of an offshore installation for which he assigned. O.I.M stays on board/site for a particular rotational period. Supervise and manage the rig to run safely and report to Drilling Superintendent about the operation. He is the overall responsible person for QHSE, Maintenance, Drilling Operations, Personnel (including sub-contractors) , Assets protection. He coordinates with on board client to understand and discuss about their planning and supervise all the offshore crew and drilling operation to make it complete with a safe manner.
2.3 Assistant Rig Manager / Toolpusher
Assistant Rig Manager or Toolpusher supervise drilling crew and report to Offshore installation Manager or Rig Manager. He is the responsible to monitor the drilling operation and supervise all drilling hands to complete the operation with a safe manner. He acts for Rig Manager or O.I.M if required.
Driller
Driller is responsible for the drilling operation of the drill floor including draw works, mud circulating systems, rotary system and BOP equipment. Driller involves directly to the operation and supervise the drilling crew.He must have a good knowledge and enough experience in drilling operation. Driller must be present in the Driller’s Cabin at all times during drilling operations unless relieved by an authorized person. Driller’s directly report to A.R.M or T.P.

Derrick Man (Offshore Rig)
Derrick Man works under the supervision of the Driller or Assistant Driller. Handles tubular goods while working in the derrick. He is responsible for mud system and maintaining the mud pumps.

Floorman/Roughneck
The Roughneck/Floorman is involved directly in the drilling operation under the supervision of the assistant driller. To apply for this position candidate should have a good physical health condition with a fit mentality. They assist the drilling operation in rigging up and down, pulling/laying down pipes and casings with a safe manner.Handles tubular and drill tools using drill floor equipment.
The Roughneck/Floorman is involved directly in the drilling operation under the supervision of the assistant driller. To apply for this position candidate should have a good physical health condition with a fit mentality. They assist the drilling operation in rigging up and down, pulling/laying down pipes and casings with a safe manner.Handles tubular and drill tools using drill floor equipment.
Chief Mechanic
The rig Chief Mechanic comes under maintenance crew section. He is responsible for all types of machinery equipment. responsible to carry out inspection, maintenance and field repair of all mechanical equipment on the rig.

On offshore installation Rig Medic is a must required to provide an immediate emergency first aid to any casualty. Rig Medic monitor all emergency life saving appliances and keep record of emergency drugs and their consumption. He checks the quality of food and water served on board by catering department. Directly involve to any medical evacuation situation.

Motorman
Motorman works under supervision of Assit Mech and Assist to carry out maintenance of mechanical equipment’s. He is responsible to check water and fuel tank soundings and report to Chief Mechanic. Additional he is the responsible to monitor tank soundings during fuel or water transferring from and to boat and to ensure there is no leakage on Hose.

Roustabout or Painter is the entry level position to oil and gas installation. Basically they are unskilled worker.Carry out general house keeping on deck area, assist cargo offloading and back-loading operation. Crane Operator supervise them to maintain safe work practice.
