IINO lines established in 1899, is one of the largest public owned shipping companies in Japan, is now entering Indian market to source sailing staff for its owned, operated and managed fleet of 106 vessels consisting of LPGs, Chemical tankers, Oil tankers, Bulk carriers through Vigma Maritime Services as its exclusive agency in India.
The IINO Group's history with oil tankers began in 1929 when it completed the TAKATORI MARU No. 1, and following that in 1931, it completed construction of Japan's first oceangoing tanker, the FUJISAN MARU. We pioneered transportation of petroleum by oil tankers and we once had the largest fleet of oil tankers in Japan.
Vigma Maritime operate close to 30 chemical tankers on routes from the Middle East to the Far East and Europe, in particular, and by meeting very specific needs in various types of petrochemical product transportation, we have won the largest share of transport volume on those routes.
