Frequently Asked Questions
1. I have been offered job in a shipping company and middle man is asking money. What should I do?
a. No Good Companies take any money to offer you a job on ship. Instead if they find anyone offering and accepting bribes, strict action is taken on both. So if some one is asking you money then you are likely to be duped. You will loose your money.
b. Sometimes they may give you job in some shoddy company on some small ship or barge based in middle east only for a month or two. Again afterwards you will be jobless and the experience on that vessel will not be considered by good companies.
2. Do I have to pay any money to shipping company once I get selected?
Absolutely not. Once you are selected, company will spend for medical check up, visa fees and air fare. The company will arrange for your travel from the Indian airport to the ship without charging you a single penny.
